Seven sublime sopranos celebrate the world’s most beloved and popular music including a stunning tribute to female characters from opera and musical theatre – Madam Butterfly, Carmen, Cleopatra, Rusalka, Aida, Carmina Burana and Phantom of the Opera all accompanied by live orchestral tracks.

JAHBUTU

Jahbutu Calypso Band is a high energy, positively inspired, Caribbean party, dance band, formed in 1996 by Trinidadian Alvin Jahbutu Rostant. The band creates a vibrant, colourful and exciting blend of dance music direct from the streets of Carnival and music studios in the West Indies. Featuring traditional and contemporary West Indian music with all the latest hot hot hot sounds of soca and calypso, combined with some funky reggae grooves that is currently played on the club circuit, also afro/latin rhythms which are inherent in the Caribbean and South America. All this combined, creates the most authentic calypso experience this side of the Caribbean.

The band is renowned for creating a lively dance party atmosphere everywhere they have performed whilst captivating their audience with their vibrant and colourful performances. In a show characterised by fun, laughter and audience participation, Jahbutu is only too willing to host the limbo contest or conga line, the trade mark of Caribbean dance.

MOVEABLE FEASTS

Moveable Feasts is the ultimate food presentation, combining décor and performance art.

The Moveable Feasts characters are - a Japanese ‘Geisha’, a baroque ‘Duchess’, a stylish ‘Paris Coco’ and a cabaret star, ‘Maraschino’ whose torsos are seamlessly nestled in the middle of tables, so that there is no separation between the character and her table.

The Moveable Feasts move - effortlessly on wheels among your guests inviting them to interact and enjoy the food and drink. They are glamourous and elegant, creating an entrancing effect reminiscent of magical realism. They are capable of complimenting even the most neutral of settings.

STILL LIFE – BODY ART

Static Performance: Unobtrusive yet captivating, this live body art is the perfect conversation piece. A celebration of the human form, the blank canvas of the model’s body is transformed before your eyes. Over the course of your event, shifting colours and patterns take shape to reveal a graphical narrative tailored to your theme. The artwork can feature a company logo, meaningful motifs, or the menu de jour. It could be a beautiful landscape, or simply dressing the near naked body in a pin stripe suit complete with waistcoat, cuff links and fob watch.

Each occurrence of Still Life’s living body art is unique, and involves consultation with the client on the themes and graphical references behind the event and its contributors. A conceptual sketch is then developed and delivered to the client for approval.
